Este novo ciclo que vivemos representa muito mais do que uma mudança de imagem. É a renovação de um compromisso profundo: tratar com rigor, mas também com presença, empatia e tempo.

Tem sido um processo muito estimulante. Esta transformação é bem mais do que visual, é interior. Estamos a reorganizar serviços, a rever processos assistenciais, a investir em tecnologia e formação. Mas, acima de tudo, continuamos a garantir que o cliente está no centro e que cada profissional se sente parte activa deste caminho.

QUANDO O CUIDADO TEM NOME PRÓPRIO

Nos últimos anos, crescemos — em serviços, em capacidade, em confiança. A Imagiologia evoluiu significativamente com a aquisição de uma nova ressonância magnética. A Maternidade e a Pediatria tornaram-se áreas de referência para muitas famílias. E o Bloco Operatório foi reforçado com parcerias internacionais, como a que temos com uma equipa sul-africana especializada em cirurgia artroscópica do ombro.

Mas, acima de tudo, temos vindo a crescer na forma como cuidamos. Aprendemos, todos os dias, que a escuta é tão importante quanto a técnica. Que os pais procuram segurança, mas também calor humano. Por isso, estamos a abrir uma nova unidade de internamento pediátrico e a expandir o nosso laboratório. Tudo porque queremos fazer mais e melhor — com mais autonomia, mais qualidade e maior capacidade de resposta.

At ALIVA, we believe that health doesn’t start in a clinic. It starts with people. It starts with the stories that come to us every day, the concerns we hear, and the gestures of care. This new cycle we are experiencing represents much more than a change of image. It is the renewal of a deep commitment: to treat with rigor, but also with presence, empathy, and time.

It has been a very stimulating process. This transformation is much more than visual — it is internal. We are reorganizing services, reviewing care processes, and investing in technology and training. But above all, we continue to ensure that the client is at the center and that each professional feels they are an active part of this journey.

WHEN CARE HAS ITS OWN NAME

In recent years, we have grown — in services, in capacity, and in trust. Our Imaging Department has advanced significantly with the acquisition of a new MRI machine. Our Maternity and Paediatrics units have become a reference for many families. And our Operating Room has been strengthened through international partnerships, such as with a South African team specialized in arthroscopic shoulder surgery.

But above all, we have grown in the way we care. Every day we learn that listening is just as important as technique. Parents look for safety, but also for human warmth. That is why we are opening a new paediatric inpatient unit and expanding our laboratory. All because we want to do more and do it better — with more autonomy, more quality, and greater capacity to respond.

MAKING DECISIONS WITH CONSCIENCE AND PURPOSE

Working in healthcare in Angola means facing real challenges but also embracing opportunities for true impact. Our compass is clinical relevance and social impact. Decisions are shared: we listen to the teams, analyze the context, cross-check data, and assess feasibility. We only move forward when there is a clear benefit for those we care for. Growth, yes — but with meaning and coherence. With this spirit, we have created new outpatient services, strengthened our inpatient care, and established partnerships that raise the quality of our services.

VALUING KNOWLEDGE, SHARING SCIENCE

Science is central to our care model. We hold monthly clinical sessions, discussing real cases and analyzing articles. Our Hypertension Days demonstrated both enthusiasm and a willingness to share knowledge. These are moments where we grow together — where medicine is reflected upon, refined, and humanized.

CARING FOR THOSE WHO CARE

At ALIVA, we believe that well-being starts from within. We have created listening spaces, regular meetings, ongoing training, and recognition policies.
